seconding a lot of this and you make several very good points, especially on the girls’ characterizations. I think I’ll do my own spiel on Suite a little later, but you hit on a lot of why I really enjoyed this season too.

total YES on the Hummy/Baritone/Falsetto scene. that’s one of my favorites too, especially when Baritone is like “HALT we do not socialize with the enemy!” and Falsetto goes “oh yeah whoops” and does like a kung-fu pose at Hummy, like he’s going to do battle with an airhead cat. she’s casual around them later too like it’s nothing. personally I just love it when heroes and villains sort of break role/ignore their positions and interact without all the antagonistic stuff; specifically that they acknowledge each other outside of their positions as good guys vs. bad guys. it’s so much fun seeing how they get along (or don’t) outside of the usual ”we won’t forgive you for your obligatory evil acts!” and “arrrgh we’ll remember this!”
